I just finished watching the tv mini-series The Kennedys, starring Katie Holmes as Jackie Kennedy - as a sidenote, she did a fantastic job. Once again, I am struck with complete admiration and I am in awe of the woman she was. She exuded so much grace, was incredibly strong, and, I believe, was an incredible example of a loving mother. One only has to look at photographs of her with her children to know how much she loved them and cared for her family. She also somehow managed to remain her own entity and accomplish a lot outside of her family, rather than blending into the background as, I find, many women do once they're married with children. I can only hope to be like her in the future.

I want...
...to live in a house with a number and street name I love.
...to have two, maybe three children. I tell people I'll never have children, but really I'm just scared.
...to learn to dance: ballet, ballroom, and burlesque.
...to exude elegance.
...to create in watercolor.
...to host the most fabulous dinner parties.
...to truly know history.
...to get back into the habit of waking early and running every morning.
...to volunteer my time more.
...to live more simply.
...to always look fabulous.
...to choose never to be sad.
...to be angered only by those things that are truly worth it.
...to be an incredibly patient woman.
...to live appreciative of every moment.
...to accomplish much.
...to learn to step out of my comfort zone more often.
...to never treat anyone without love, patience, respect.

White
I want to decorate my house in white. There is something about an all-white color scheme that leaves one breathless, light, and feeling free. Also, I'm certain it would be very difficult to ever feel sad if I were surrounded by white.

This Is Why I Love South America
There are few ad campaigns that make a girl want to drop everything she's doing, go to the place the picture was shot, and become the girl in the photo. Anthropologie does this consistently. That is why I love Anthropologie. Here is (some of) their April 2011 campaign. Enjoy!
