I'm catching up on all the shows that I've missed in the past month. I'm almost through the New York ones. Now I only have London, Milan, and Paris, to go. Paris is always my favourite, and though I would really like to skip ahead to those ones, I know that if I start watching them before finishing all the others, I'll never go back to the others. Thus, I am dying of excitement, but trying to avoid doing anything else with my online time, so that I can hurry up and get to the Paris shows, already!
A few things I am being reminded of while watching:
1. A good show leaves your mind reeling with divinely inspired sartorial ideas.
2. American fashion is highly over-rated, sparing a few designers who are nice but most of them not extraordinary.
3. Pictures do not compare to actual runway videos (which I'm sure, don't compare to the physical experience). Unfortunately, pictures are faster.
(If someone would please mail this room to my house, I would appreciate it.)
